Curriculum
1. Legal Basis
The Master of Civil Engineering Study Program curriculum is prepared referring to:
- Decree of the Minister of National Education of the Republic of Indonesia Number 234/U/2000 concerning Guidelines for the Establishment of Higher Education, Chapter I General Provisions Article 1 paragraph (18), which states that the Master’s Program, hereinafter referred to as the Master’s Program, is a level of academic education that has a study load of at least 36 units. semester credits (credits) and a maximum of 50 credits with a curriculum of 4 semesters and a program length of between 4 to 10 semesters after undergraduate education or equivalent.
- Decree of the Minister of National Education of the Republic of Indonesia Number 232/U/2000 concerning Guidelines for Preparing Higher Education Curricula and Assessment of Student Learning Outcomes, which provides the following provisions:
- Academic education aims to prepare students to become members of society who have academic abilities in applying, developing and/or enriching the treasures of science, technology and/or the arts, as well as disseminating and seeking their use to improve the standard of living of society and enrich national culture.
- The master program is aimed at producing graduates who have the following characteristics:
- have the ability to develop and update science, technology and/or art by mastering and understanding scientific approaches, methods, principles along with application skills;
- have the ability to solve problems in their field of expertise through research and development activities based on scientific principles;
- has the ability to develop his professional performance which is shown by the sharpness of problem analysis, the comprehensiveness of the survey, the unity of problem solving.
- Based on decision BAN-PT No.0055/SK/BAN-PT/Akred/M/I/2016, states that the Civil Engineering Master Study Program,Trisakti University Jakarta is accredited with an Accreditation rating of ‘‘B‘‘
2. Expected Output Competency Qualification
The FTSP Civil Engineering Master’s Study Program at Trisakti University is organized to produce graduates who are:
- Producing graduates who have the ability to think through problems and the ability to develop professional performance in the fields of Structural Engineering, Construction Technology and Management, Water Resources and Transportation in a broader spectrum in addition to providing direction in order to develop reasoning . Â
- Producing graduates who have high integrity/personality, are open and responsive to changes and advances in Civil Engineering, especially those related to Structural Engineering, Construction Technology and Management, Water Resources and Transportation.
- Providing sufficient provision for students in mastering the concepts and basics of research in the fields of Structural Engineering, Construction Technology and Management, Water Resources and Transportation and ‘cognate areas’, according to the level of mastery and application.
3. Reference for Curriculum Preparation
The Master of Civil Engineering Study Program curriculum was designed and developed with reference to the Vision & Mission of Trisakti University, the Vision & Mission of the Faculty of Civil Engineering and Planning, the Vision and Mission of the Department of Civil Engineering, and the Vision and Mission of the Master of Civil Engineering Study Program. Curriculum design and development includes determining study concentration (field of study), designing teaching materials (courses) and distributing them in each semester with reference to:
- Number 73 of 2013 dated 10 June 2013 concerning Implementation of the Indonesian National Qualifications Framework in the Sector of Higher Education.
