Study Materials and Study Load

Based on the results of the analysis of the combination of competencies resulting from students from the Master of Civil Engineering program with competency elements, study materials can be formulated. From the learning outcomes and study materials, a number of courses are compiled which are presented in the Civil Engineering Master’s Study Program. Learning outcomes for the Civil Engineering Master’s Study Program consist of:

  1. Knowledge Learning Outcomes (level of mastery, breadth and depth of knowledge that characterizes the Civil Engineering Master Study Program).
  2. General Skills Learning Outcomes (general work abilities and responsibilities according to the Master of Civil Engineering)
  3. Specific Learning Outcomes (specific work abilities related to the Master of Civil Engineering scientific field)
  4. Attitude Learning Outcomes (a reflection of attitudes and values ​​as Indonesian citizens and nation as well as Trisakti students.

The Civil Engineering Master’s Program study load is 40 (forty) credits, the program is scheduled for 4 (four) semesters, it is possible to complete it within 3 (three) semesters and a maximum of 8 (eight) semesters including the preparation of a thesis. Compulsory courses in the Core Curriculum totaling 12 credits and compulsory courses in the Master of Civil Engineering Usakti totaling 6 credits (must be taken by all Master of Civil Engineering participants. Compulsory concentration courses totaling 9 credits and concentration elective courses 7 credits (according to each concentration) and a Thesis study load of 6 credits.
Several courses in the Civil Engineering Master’s Program have Local Wisdom, including: Earthquake Resistant Structure Planning, Environmentally Conscious Drainage, Project and Construction Management and Advanced Road and Pavement Materials.
